Locanda la Barma is located in Lignan, just a short walk from the regional Astronomical Observatory and Planetarium in an honoured position in the central square opposite the parish church.

From the solarium and children’s playground you have a stunning view over Valle d’Aosta’s snow-clad peaks and 7 hours of sunshine a day…even during the shortest days of the year! Guests have free use of sun loungers, table football, table tennis and boules pitch.

Our cook prepares traditional local dishes, favouring locally sourced produce. In addition to the classic Valdostan “polenta concia” you can sample various revisited traditional rustic mountain recipes. On returning from a hike or day out skiing, there are always bountiful snacks awaiting you.
