La Chèvre Heureuse
Since 2003 we have been breeding goats, cows and sheep on the hillside above Saint-Marcel at an altitude of 1,400m. From springtime till the first frosts, our livestock graze freely in meadows containing a rich variety of botanical essences, shrubs and plants. The richness of these perennial pastures is entirely conferred to the raw milk we process daily in our dairy.
Our products include fresh goat’s cheese (Champchevrette), a goat’s milk toma and Chevrier; matured pecorino (Fehia) and soft pecorino, butter and yoghurt made with sheep’s milk. Cheese made from a mixture of three types of milk.
