Nordic skiing in Central Valle d’Aosta

Central Valle d'Aosta turns into a paradise for snow sport in wintertime, boasting one of the best cross-country ski trails in the region. Covering a total of 32 km, the trail starts from the village of Porliod and meanders through fir and larch trees, sun exposure is so great here that even the biting winter cold is assuaged. Saint-Barthélemy valley offers an infinity of wonderful snow-shoeing itineraries, necessary equipment can be hired at the new Nordic skiing centre.
