Saint-Barthélemy fortified village, Nus

A visit to Nus will transport you even further back - to prehistoric times - as its fortified village dates back to the Bronze Age! It is situated in one of the higher village within the municipality of Saint-Barthélemy, reaches a height of 60 metres and reveals defence strategies typical of the Neolithic period. Recent studies have offered various interpretations of this mysterious construction which may have been used as an Etruscan templum. History lovers definitely must not miss a visit to this building!
