Astronomical Observatory and Planetarium at Saint-Barthélemy, Nus

Built 1,670 m above sea level in the village of Lignan, the astronomical observatory invites visitors to step outside and discover the celestial bodies that inhabit the universe. The centre is fitted out with modern facilities and top quality equipment, offering educational activities for schools but also for amateur astronomers or whoever is simply curious to learn more. In Lignan planetarium there are both original productions of the stars and projections received directly from the telescope trained onto space.

This is the perfect place to take a “trip into space”. With prior booking, Lignan astronomical observatory offers guided tours both at night and during the day.
